Built by Skip Walmsey and launched in Alviso, CA, on 10-16-78. Was holed in the Port ama in a December 1992 storm in San Diego Harbor, hence the name. We bought it in the yard in March, 1993, from Glen Puller, who repaired her. Have lived aboard in Channel Islands Harbor since 1995.
We have a boat canvas business in this harbor, the only one open on the weekends, with Monday and Tuesday our days off.
