Boat Name:     Patches

Model:    Searunner 40

Sail Number:   Unknown

Date Launched:     1976

Where Launched:    Santa Cruz, Calf, USA

Present Location:     Marina seca de Guaymas,                                        Mexico

Remarks:

Lots of rot. even some termites in the bow. So I hauled her at Napa Valley marina, the best multihull yard I've ever seen or heard about, and completely restored her. Lots of new wood, so we re-christened her "PATCHES'. After re launching her in 1998 we sailed the S.F. bay until December of 1999, and then sailed to Baja, where we lived aboard and did the "vagabundos del mar thing" (Cruising, to us gringos) until april of (2004). Then my back went south so we came home for the doctor dance. We left the boat on the hard in marina de seca de Guaymas , not to be confused weth marina de seca de San Carlos. In Guaymas there is a 30 ft WIDE travelift and a secure yard that is verry multihull friendly I hope to return to Guaymas in December get Patches ready for a re launch ready for more fun in the sun .
