We purchased her in 1987 and sailed her for five years in Lake Ontario. From 92-97, cruised the East Coast and Bahamas with our two daughters, 10 & 12 when we left, 15 & 17 when the eldest finished high school aboard. Ishmael was laid up for five years and in 2002 we began a refit that ended with our departure from Toronto in September 2004. She has a hard top that we added in 1996 that has transformed the cockpit into a wonderful living/crewing space.
